Track making and survey

Access to the CSR was from Halls Creek along established dirt roads, connecting with Bill Moyle's new track on Billiluna Station. They used teh track to Well 45 and from there a track was made using Bombardiers to around Well 41. Here, any further attempt using the Bombadiers was abandonded as they could not get over the sand dunes. The party continued with survey vehicles to Well 35.

A claim that evolves with every media interview, book and article written.

Survival Walk of the CSR?

CLAIM BUSTED

A copy of the note in Sarah's own hand writing surfaced a decade after the event, in 2013, when I started investigating Sarah's survival walk claim. The original is still in existence.

The note spoke honestly of her brother Joel cooking for her and her dog every night on the CSR. It also spoke of her intention to abort trying to walk the full length, and instead turn off at Well 33.

When confronted with the evidence, Sarah declined to comment but swiftly altered her website to reflect that her brother provided food as well as water on the 'Survival Walk'.

Sarah has declined to supply information, beyond that she walked a section of the CSR from Wiluna to Kunawarritji with the support of her brother driving a 4x4.

Seriously delayed start. Parcels shipped from Europe 3 months prior, not arriving timeously in Halls Creek.

Planned as two people cycling. After a long wait, Piotr Woo Peen Ski of Sweden, returned to Europe.

Marcin waited for parcels, departing Halls Creek 08 September, Billiluna 09 Sep. Arrived Well 51, 10 September. Aborted 24kms before Well 49,  11 Sep. Lift back in vehicle to Billiluna. Heat, weight,  dehydration took its toll. Friend collected Marcin in Billiluna, taking him to Halls Creek in vehicle, 12 Sep.
